Highway to Hawks provides a pathway for Port Stephens, North Newcastle and local Indigenous players to compete in the Newcastle District Rugby League competition and beyond
We Aspire
We aspire to give local rugby league players from the Port Stephens and North Newcastle districts a pathway into the premier rugby league competition in country NSW, the Newcastle Rugby League Competition
We will Establish
We will work with our local district clubs to establish and run an advanced player development programme Highway to Hawks.
We will establish an advanced coaching programme for local juniors. The programme will be aimed at developing the top tiered players from U15-U18 to representative level.
We Rise Together
We will rise together to become a high performing club in the Newcastle first division completions from U19s through to First grade.
We rise to become a club which has the numbers and quality players to fill all grades with local players from the Port Stephens / Worimi area.
