Highway to Hawks provides a pathway for local Port Stephens players in the Newcastle District Rugby League competition and beyond
Our Aspiration
We aspire to provide local rugby league players from the Port Stephens and North Newcastle districts with a clear pathway into the premier rugby league competition in NSW, the Newcastle Rugby League Competition.
Our goal is to support and elevate local talent by opening doors to higher-level opportunities.
Our Commitment
We will collaborate with our local district clubs to establish and run an advanced player development programme, Highway to Hawks.
We will also develop an advanced coaching programme for local juniors, aimed at nurturing the top-tier players from U15–U18 and preparing them for representative-level competition.
Our Path Forward
We will rise together to become a high-performing club in the Newcastle First Division, progressing players from U19s through to First Grade.
Our ambition is to build a club with the depth and quality of players needed to field competitive teams across all grades, drawing talent from the Port Stephens.
